Peptides before and after surgery
BPC-157, TB-500 and GHK-Cu, side by side, with the safety points to cover with your surgeon first.

Talk to your surgeon first
Before surgery
- Tell your surgeon and anesthesiologist about every peptide you use, and follow their instructions.
- GLP-1 peptides such as semaglutide, tirzepatide and retatrutide slow stomach emptying, which matters under anesthesia. Your surgical team may ask you to pause them or change what you eat beforehand.
- Don't start anything new in the weeks before an operation unless your surgeon agrees.
After surgery
- Ask your surgeon before using any peptide while you heal.
- Never put anything on an incision without their OK.
- Report fever, spreading redness or unusual bleeding to your care team right away.

Questions
About peptides and surgery
Should I stop peptides before surgery?
Tell your surgeon and anesthesiologist about everything you take, including peptides, and follow their plan. Many surgeons ask patients to stop supplements and unapproved compounds before an operation, and GLP-1 peptides need a specific plan because they slow stomach emptying.
Is there good evidence these help surgical recovery?
Not yet in people. Most of the research on BPC-157, TB-500 and GHK-Cu comes from cell and animal studies, and human studies are small or missing. That's why the first step is a conversation with your surgeon.
Is there a ready-to-use option?
Yes, Glow: BPC-157 with GHK-Cu, $119 a month, mixed and loaded into a reusable pen. The reusable pen is a one-time $20, or bring your own.
